The consultancy companie econet has achieved funds for the Galician city hall of Carballo to take part in a european project for training of young people aged between 18 and 35 years old. The program has been designed to provide internship in several European companies in the program by the project partners are the British, Training Vision, the German Berlink, the Italian Tourism and the Polish system, Aviva.
Can participate in this training offer 24 young people within the age range mentioned before and Vocational Trainning (VT) or university degree. Requirement is that candidates are on call in the labor market Carballo. Priority will be given to those who are unemployed or have no previous experience, women and persons belonging to groups at risk of social exclusion, being those with a major problem to be employed.
The European project named “Carballo in motion,” inscribed within the Lifelong Learning Programme of the EU, specifically in the context of mobility projects Leonardo da Vinci, has the primary objective to improve the profile and professional qualifications of the beneficiaries enabling them to an open labor market but has high levels of training and experience. Similarly, the program will be an incentive for local bussines network that have prepared and trained young people in an international and intercultural context.
Budget and internships
The internships, which have a budget of 61,056 Euros, will take place between March and December 2012 being the responsibility of the city hall of Carballo overall coordination, information and selection of participants and their preparation.
Econet, a consultant with a presence in Brussels and in 6 EU countries indicates that the initiative is particularly important in the current economic context because of the difficulty for young people to find employment as well as appropriate training. Therefore, these initiatives will impulse the local economy and opportunities for selected individuals.
